Klaus Dibiasi has been one of the main protagonists of Italian and global history of diving, he won three gold medals at the 1968 Mexico City Summer Olympics, 1972 Monaco Summer Olympics and 1976 Montreal Summer Olympics, where he also was the standard bearer for the Italian team. Dibiasi has been the one and only athlete winning three Olympic Games in a row, adding also two silver medals. He also won two World Championships, two European Championships and two Mediterranean Games. Once completed his career in sport competitions, he has been working as a trainer for the Olympic team in the Moscow Summer Games in 1980, Los Angeles 1984, Seoul 1988 and Atlanta 1996. Renato Molinari is a real legend of powerboating. He run his life around powerboating, gathering prizes in all global ranks: he won twice the Rouen 24 hours Race and the Paris 6 hours Race, twice the Parker 9 hours Race and he received five times the “Chevron Sportsman of the Year” award” as best pilot. Three achievements in 1981, 1983 and 1984 in the Formula 1 Powerboat World Championship, four achievements in the unlimited capacity outboard race in 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983, five achievements in the 1.500 outboard race in 1977 and 2.000 inboard race in 1981. In 1985 he started as a General Manager in the Nordica Team together with Woods and Vidoli in Germany. The very same year he was back on a cat that he designed himself, called Falcon 46. In 1986 he was nominated technic director of Formula 1, 2 and 3 and of the circuit. The same year, in May he won the fourth Monaco Race as a global challenge, with his own Falcon 46 teaming up with Bodega. Among the different powerboating athletes who will be awarded: Giuseppe Schiano Di Cola, Federico Montanari and Antonio Schiano Di Cola from Italy for the 2015 World Champion - Offshore Class V1, Gary Ballough and John Tomlinson from USA for the 2015 World Champion - Offshore Class 1 and Arif Al Zaffain and Nadir Bin Hendi from UAE for the 2015 World Champion - Offshore XCAT. For Aquabike: Jennifer Menard from France and Nellie Ortendahl from Sweden for the 2015 World Ranking - Aquabike Class Pro - Ski Ladies GP1, i francesi Mickeal Poret e Jeremy Poret per il 2015 World Ranking - Aquabike Class Pro - Ski Division GP1, Roberto Mariani from Italy and Rok Florjancic and Nac Florjancic from Croatia for the 2015 World Ranking - Aquabike Class Pro - Freestyle, Jeremy Perez, Dider Chabert and Christophe Agostinho from France for the 2015 World Ranking - Aquabike Class Pro - Runabout GP1., Philippe Chiappe from France for the 2015 World Champion - Formula 1 in China. |
