AGENDA MONACO BUSINESS SOCIETY: JON KERSHAW, ZOOLOGICAL DIRECTOR AT MARINELAND IN ANTIBES
The Monaco Business Society wishes you all a Happy New Year and is pleased to announce that our next meeting will be held at CREM, Le Mirabeau, 1 avenue
Princesse Grace on 19 February at 18h30. Our special guest will be Jon Kershaw who is Zoological Director at Marineland in Antibes.
Jon will be offering us unique insights into the training of killer whales and dolphins and how it can be applied to management in the corporate world. He will examine such principles as the importance of team building, establishing ethical values, asserting leadership, communication, coaching and motivation.
His ideas are based on years of practical experience with animals as well as related management theories developed in training programmes he gives at Marineland.
Whilst we all certainly know certain “sharks” in the business world, anyone who can train a killer whale can certainly provide us with valuable advice to manage our colleagues, however difficult they may be.
If you’re interested in attending this thought-provoking event, please confirm your presence to me by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. The entrance fee of €20 can be paid at the door and includes a welcome cocktail and savoury snacks.
