After the dramatic, suspense-filled finale of the 2015 Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix, which saw Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg take his first GP victory in over four months, Amber Lounge Mexico City, was THE destination for the F1 fraternity as the energy and emotion of the paddock came to life at Amber Lounge!
With a name as globally renowned as Amber Lounge, A-list celebrities and Formula One Drivers from around the world reserve their tables months in advance to secure their place at F1’s most coveted party.

For its inaugural event in Mexico City, Amber Lounge welcomed 19 F1 Drivers including Sergio Perez, Daniel Ricciardo, Valtteri Bottas, Felipe Massa, and Jenson Button - who also took to the stage with Daniil Kvyat and Marcus Ericsson - to name a new. A crowd of VIP guests, including Carlos Slim Domit, singing superstar Leonardo De Lozanne, Mexican actors Ariadne Díaz and Miguel Rodarte, were among the many VIP guests spotted partying and dancing on the tables in the world’s most iconic Formula One destination.
Through a silent auction held over the weekend, Amber Lounge raised significant funds and awareness in support of Fundación Checo Pérez, a charity founded by Mexican F1 Driver Sergio Perez, which provides integral development opportunities for children living in vulnerable situations.
“We set out to make Amber Lounge Mexico City our best event yet and I think we achieved our goal of bringing Monte-Carlo glamour to Mexico!” - says Sonia Irvine, Founder of Amber Lounge. “We had a tremendous amount of support from our wonderful partners Banamex, Heineken, Johnnie Walker, Moët & Chandon and NEC and I am very grateful to everyone for their participation in making Amber Lounge Mexico City such a phenomenal success.”
Amber Lounge’s first event in Mexico City was definitely the best one yet and brought a very special emotion, similar to the one that was found at the paddock.
